(North Sydney)

The ability to speak with confidence, aptitude and structure is becoming increasingly crucial for the academic and social success of any high school student.  This course teaches students the foundations of good public speaking, and seeks to reinforce these foundations through practice in a welcoming environment.

Amongst a range of other things, this course features:

  • a number of techniques which students can use to overcome their fears and prepare for formal speaking situations;
  • a range of essential techniques necessary for constructing and giving effective speeches;
  • a number of tasks that require students to prepare and present individual and group presentations;
  • extensive exposure to giving impromptu speeches; and
  • an introduction to academic English school speeches.

As with all our courses, we only hire talented and experienced coaches, and keep our classes small to help ensure that each and every student has ample opportunity to practice and receive individualised feedback.
